Installing VADO

We have designed VADO to run on as many mobile phones as possible, and we are adding new capabilities every day.Right now,VADO works on virtually any mobile phone that supports Java. Soon we will natively support Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android, and the Apple iPhone, so if you're using one of those devices, please check back with us soon.

Unfortunately, some North American operators like T-Mobile, Apple, and Verizon, do not allow third-party applications like VADO to run on many of the phones purchased from within their store. However, this is changing rapidly as the operators are opening their frameworks so, again, if you get your mobile service through one of those operatos, please check back with us soon.

VADO uses your operator's data plan to interact with your phone. If you do not have an unlimited data data plan for your mobile device, we recommend that you monitor your data usage. Fortunately, all major U.S. carriers have adopted flat-rate all-you-can-eat mobile plans for voice, data, and text. Now that this point has been reached, users should see rate reductions as operators vie for business.
